The electricity bill of $1 ,500 in just three weeks must have been difficult for this homeowner.

Ashley says her guest brought the computers to mine cryptocurrencies into the home and also installed an electric vehicle charging station.

“It was cheaper for them to rent a house than pay for this electricity”

The tenant was probably honest about his installation and reported to the owner that he had earned more than $100 ,000 during his stay.

These types of cases are increasing more and more and many owners support Ashley.

“I have also included in my regulations the ban on mining cryptocurrencies. It’s ridiculous that we have to do this.”
