It is going to be a big month for new investigations shared on X:
-revealing identity of $25M + exploiter
-three fraud scammers who have stolen $20M + (first being exposed on Monday)

1/ An investigation into Faris Ali (Zay/Tommy) from the UK and his alleged involvement in robbing an X user out of $4 .3M in June 2024 during a home invasion as the result of a crypto data breach.

In April 2024 an elderly victim from the US was targeted by Indian call scammers posing as Coinbase support resulting in a large portion of their life savings stolen.

Pleased to share that I helped recover $275K which was recently seized and will be sent back to them.

During my research I found $5M + stolen from other victims of this group which were laundered from Ethereum/Bitcoin to Tron via centralized exchanges before stablecoins were transferred to OTCs.

Community Alert: A number of large accounts on X currently have their account compromised and are posting a meme coin scam.

Seven hours ago a suspicious transfer was made from a potential victim for 4064 BTC ($238M)

Funds were quickly transferred to ThorChain, eXch, Kucoin, ChangeNow, Railgun, Avalanche Bridge.

1/ An investigation into the convicted UK hacker Gurv (Gurvinder Bhangu) and his connection to the recent Sydney Sweeney and Bob Odenkirk X account compromises resulting in $530K + stolen by creating Solana meme coin scams.

It is rare I see this many meaningless buzzwords for a project.

I can say your tech is at best underwhelming and at worst a complete grift.

1/4 So far in July 2024 more than $35M from the $305M DMM Bitcoin hack has been laundered to the online marketplace Huione Guarantee

just plead guilty on Friday for his MEV bot investment fraud scheme and now faces up to 20 years in prison.

In December 2023 I made a post detailing 11+ investors who were victimized and revealed his criminal background.

It was discovered he spent the investors funds on professional sports tickets, expensive cars, and lavish trips right after receiving funds in his Coinbase account.

Here is an overview of one of the better executed scams I have seen in recent times so I figured I would share with the community as a cautionary tale.

The GTA 6 trailer was leaked by a threat actor who goes by the alias Skenkir.

He purchased access to a YouTube admin panel which allowed him to view the unlisted video early.
