🇺🇸 A division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security focused on cybercrime said it has prevented more than 500 ransomware attacks and seized billions of dollars in cryptocurrency since 2021.
Homeland Security Investigations investigates cybercrime and transnational illicit activities and notifies government agencies, businesses, and other potential victims that an extortion event is imminent.
HSI is said to have prevented 150 ransomware plots between October 2023 and September 30, 2024.
537 intrusions have reportedly been disrupted since its creation in 2021.

To date, Tether has assisted over 180 authorities in 45 jurisdictions, and has blocked over $1 .8 billion, redistributing over $128 million to its rightful owners.

We are 180 days into a correction since we made an ATH in Bitcoin and market sentiment is worse than when BTC was at 15K.
Ethereum has lost nearly $250 billion in market cap over the summer, even with ETFs coming to market.
And what happened?
> Massive exits and sales by Grayscale.
> Massive MT.GOX distributions.
> Mass distributions from the United States.
> Germany selling +50,000 BTC.
And what is to come?
> US interest rate cuts.
> Gradual increase in global liquidity.
> United States elections.
> FTX Refunds (+$16B).
And all this with stablecoins reaching all-time highs.
Is this the end? Are we all going to die?
I don't believe it.
For me nothing has changed.
Nobody said the bull market was going to be easy.
The best, for me, is yet to come.
You already know what happened next, the times when the feeling was as shattered and terrifying as the one we are experiencing now.
The difficult moments are what separate babies with poop on their butts from legends.
Everyone is very pro, everyone is very cocky, very gangster and very brave until it is time to buy the dip when at all hours they say that we are going to visit lower areas and everyone is terrified and with their balls in their throat.
We've all heard "If you come down to X area I'm going to put my house in your house" then they come down and shit their pants and don't buy.

There is something that will never change.

📊 Weekly Outlook Charts Aug 19-23:
#DXY still grinding lower. Nothing much has changed since last week. Global PMI data and subsequent labor market data in UK, France, Germany, USA will have an impact on fed cut expectations and by proxy risk assets including the dollar.
The Annual Jackson Hole meeting is this week as well. Surely there will be some volatility. My best guess is Powell restating the fact that the fight against inflation is almost over and focus on labor market data will be prioritized going forward to initiate the 'soft landing'

Within 2 weeks since the yen unwinding, we are just a couple percentage points off the highs. The vast volatility has me a bit suspicious. Since we are back above the cloud, confirms bullish continuation, however I suspect this week we might range around 5600 on #SPY due to heavy news flow this week.

Parcl protocol has officially launched its second community allocation of $PRCL tokens, commencing the distribution process for the Perpetual Points Program (PPP) Season 1 rewards.
This latest airdrop will allocate more than 6% of the total PRCL supply, complementing the initial 8% distributed previously. The claim page for PPP Season 1 will go live on July 15th, 2024.
The total allocation of 60,000,000 $PRCL will be divided into two segments: 40,000,000 $PRCL will be distributed linearly to users with over 50,000 points, and 20,000,000 $PRCL will be reserved for Parcl traders.
The $PRCL token currently trades at.18 with a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $181 million.
According to details shared by Parcl protocol, The distribution introduces a new vesting mechanism to promote token price stability. Participants can accelerate their vesting schedules by staking more $PRCL . Three vesting schedules are available, ranging from 90 days for those taking over 50% of their allocation to 180 days for those taking less than 50%.
